Can anyone tell me the legal pro's & cons of running a business here in france but being registered in uk Thanks

The pool isnt in need of any repair work, it is already painted but wants refreshing, it just needs  a clean, degreasing and painting  just after a ballpark figure if possible 

Can anyone tell me what the approx cost per m2 for having a pool repainted is Thanks

i am a regestered artisan here and my work involves using a specialized mix of concrete. The yard we used got the mix right on the first job but when they delivered to the job i am on now, we discovered when it was too late, that the mix was wrong  The whole job has to be took out and replaced I went straight to the yard and told them and they sent out a technician to look He agreed it was not right and said he would do a report, that was last week, I still have not heard back and i am planning to ring tomorrow I just wanted to know if anyone can advise me on the best way to go about this, it is going to cost a lot to put this right and as i dont get paid until the job is finished im going to struggle Thanks in advance

How about, scalp and clean off the stone, get the galvanized flat fence post holders, set them in place level and cover with concrete or maybe build pillars wth the hollow concrete grey blocks cutting holes in the blocks to slide the ranch fencing through and then fill the pillars with concrete.  

Hi all we are looking for a long term rental in the Narbonne area within 20km of, we have just recently been informed that the house we rent at the moment has been put on the market for sale; We are looking for 2 bed with parking and storage for tools.

I have to say the Chambre de Metier has been great for us. I was a bit concerned about being able to add to our activities but after reading this we went and there was absolutly no problem in fact i have been trying to find out how my husband goes on about getting his lisence for machine driving [mini digger] i even started a thread on here but i had no replies anyway we mentioned it at the Metier and they sorted it out there and then booked him in for his test in March and then informed us that they cover all costs So my advise to anyone is use the Chambre de Metier like someone has already said, they are there to help artisans and they are great

When i left the property I left in Sept but continued to pay the rent until Oct to cover the three months notice i had to give which i gave in july. When i went in Oct to collect the bond that i gave initially they had deducted over 100e which they say was to cover the cost of the bins

Hi spg, from what I have been reading since my post I think it is right. I am in Narbonne area. It was a bit unexpected, but Im learning as I go along here so thats another lesson learned and Ill make sure I budget it for it this year thanks for the reply Jaylo

Hi all, I rented an apartment from last Jan to last Sept. After I had left I had a bill for the bins at the old place which I was expecting but now I have been sent a bill for 220e for the Tax d  Habitation This or the bins is not mentioned in the contract. Also it was one house that had been converted into two tiny appartments and it seems a lot to have to pay I would be grate ful for any advice Jaylo

Hi all, my husband is a registered artisan and looking for someone to work with him for maybe two hours once a week on certain jobs. I have read about the Cheque emploi and wondered if this was something that he could do, or is it just for private individuals?
