Hi Panda We are in a similiar position and are looking for a Renovation Mortgage. We have a block of 3 houses, the first now completed and rented out mid/long term. The other 2 have been partly done and we will also be doing alot of the work ourselves. The rental from the first one should more than cover the mortgage repayments.  A few questions for you to answer if you would be so kind. 1. What was the name of the loan called so I can mention this on a visit to my local CIC? 2.What was the time line from applying for the loan to actually getting it?. 3.  What was tthe repayment period and was the interest rate fixed in anyway. 4. Are you allowed to make extra payments without penalty to pay off the loan earlier? Many thanx in advance Conrad & Janet  Area 35 

Hi All Santas finally coming to town and bringing ADSL to the village. To all those with ADSL already could I get a few ideas on who to look at or avoid when upgrading to ADSL in the near future please. Thanks for looking Conrad 

Dont say I told you this but there has been a whiteish ford cortina in there for over 4 years now with no sign of it ever getting moved on by the authorities. Soooo lets say you did leave you car in there for upto a year and the battery was disconnected etc (to save it from discharging) then upon reconnection and starting up your car you could follow someone one out without paying anything. The secret is to keep very close to the vehicle in front whilst matching its speed. The barriers then think that the car has a trailer on the back and will allow an extra second or two before dropping down thus allowing you to depart the car park without paying!!! Not that I'm advocating breaking the law or anything but it's has been done before and will no doubt be done again!!!
