I know this is a bit late but, out E106 ran out today, tomorrow I am going to phone and try to extend it.  Is it possible to apply to the CMU by internet or post, the reason being (and why this problem had slipped slightly) is that we are in England at the moment and have been since the end of October, we are returning to France in mid March, unless we have to return earlier.  I think we thought like others, that there would be a letter from the CPAM telling us that we were about to be left without healthcare, but of course this has not arrived. I do have type 2 diabetes, so am hoping that CPU will take me on, but I am not sure if the fact that we have signed on to the French tax system and we do run a gite counts as being active.  The other thought is that as my wife is 60 in October we might manage till then......?
