Just to correct Sweet.  French artisans insurance remains even if they have gone out of business. That's why it is so bloomin' expensive! When using artisans get a copy of their insurance as well as the facture (invoice). PD

Hi It is unlikely you will need an architect to draw up plans for a garage. I have had lots of experience of drawing for French planning approval. I may be able to help and am local. Peter
