I have decided to leave this until next year when we get better weather, but I am travelling with BMI Baby for the first time this weekend and Im really excited. Hopefully if my flight is great then I will use them to Bordeaux next year.

Thanks for your information Hoddy. I think I have come up with a good plan for this. I plan on flying to Bordeaux Airport, and there are a few cheap hotels around there where I could stay, then (as I am only going down for the one day) get the train from Bordeaux to Arcachon. However I am not sure when I will do this, I planned on October and fly out with BMI Baby (as they stop Manchester/Birmignham-Bordeaux servies after than) but I don't think I will be able to go then and might have to go next year. When is the best time to go for good weather, what is it like in the Spring?

I am going to Arachon for a short holiday in a few months. Does anyone know any good low cost hotels there that are in good reach of the railway station and the beach?

Thanks shropshirelass. I agree with you on the point about not having flights during the winter period. I plan to travel in October so only just managing to avoid the end of the services. I wonder if BMI Baby have changed other flight services during the winter as perhaps they are in need of extra aircrafts on other busy services.

I am looking at flying over to Bordeaux later this year, and looking at the prices BMI Baby are by far the best. I have seen however not that many good reviews about them. Anyone who has travelled with BMI Baby and if so what was the flight like?
