We are planning to rent a house in France for 12 months as a relocation exercise-do we need to be aware of any legal issues? eg registering/carte de sejour/health care etc.  We will not be working nor planning to do so. Any help woul dbe very useful

We are finding it impossible to find the definitive answer to this - can anyone help? We are on a very low income - we only get Uk state pension but have been told that we may get full reimbursement of our medical costs living in France. does anyone know if this is true?
