Hi - I am just interested to know if anyone else has had the same difficulty as we have in finding made to measure radiator covers in France?  We are now considering importing from the UK or building them ourselves?? Any reccomendations/advice always welcome. Thanks!

Thanks Tracy, I plan to go to the town hall and find out where my nearest PMI is.  Do you know what the registering procedure is - we are not residents of France yet, so wonder if we'll be entitled to it?  Thanks

Hi, Having recently made the move to France with my husband and 8 month old daughter, I am keen to get advise on registering at a doctors surgery.  Opinions I am getting is that if one of us falls ill, any doctor will see us, within reason, but I am keen for us to register with one doctor, who, like in the UK will have records of our health history.  Obviously I am keen for my daughter to see a health visitor, as she would normally have regular checks in the UK. Advise greatfully received

Hi - Does anyone play netball here in France?  I have asked a few locals and they don't seem to know what it is even!!  I have left behind a netball team which I captained in the UK and I really miss it.  Maybe I need to start up my own team here??  Anyone interested??

Hi!  I have recently moved to the Vienne, to a town called Chauvigny (86).  I have a young daughter who is 8 months old and I am keen for her to interact with other children as she did in the UK before we left (and for me to meet new mums too!)  I am realising that the 'toddler group' cutlure we have in the UK does not seem to be mirrored here in France, but there must be something I can do with her where we can meet other babies and mums.  Even if it just started out with a coffee...  Just interested in any advise and also keen to here from anyone in my area that might be in a similar situtation. I look forward to hearing from anyone that this topic interests!
