I personally would say that is excessive. I have five apartments, admittedly very modern and minimalist inside, so not a huge amount of dusting, etc. Plus we are tiled throughout so easy for mopping, etc. But we allow - 2.5 hours for the larger apartments (around 70m²) and 2 hours for the smaller ones which are around 63m². They are easy to clean and all have two bedrooms, one bathroom (a wetroom so again, easy) open plan lounge, kitchen and diner. We do garden, lawns etc in the week also the linen, and then Saturday is chaotic, and really hard work, but worth it!!  

Funnily enough it had crossed my mind - but I think that insurance is the issue which is why they don't do it here at the moment - 3rd party insurance is required.....we looked into it and although we can have one on our site for people to get about we shouldn't let them go out and about in public spaces as they would be covered either personally or against third party damage! It will probably come along by one of the larger companies, but how much it will cost will be abother matter!  

Hi There You can't hire an electric one, we live just north of Guingamp, and I hire a lot of equipment for my disabled guests, but an electric wheelchair or scooter is not possible, from either pharmacy or one of the several medical shops. What I advise guests to do is bring their electric chair and we can always hire a manual chair! Sorry, but I don't think that you will have any luck at all, it certainly is not possible locally.  

On the north coast of Brittany, area 22, we have similar as Val_2. Admittedly our village does have a few shops but those without locally have the same as Val. Although we do get a couple of pizza vans on set evenings in different villages.

Having bought a GSX 1400 at the end of last year, we are trying to find if anyone fancies meeting locally - going out for a ride one afternoon, getting lunch, etc that sort of thing.   If there is anyone that lives relatively locally it would be great to hear from you.

The site above is info for people (like me) who want to get the label - "Tourisme et Handicap".. It is always worth contacting your local APF - Association Paralyses de France, if they say something is accessible, generally it is, normally a disabled group member will have been round, visted the property and done an access audit - always ask if a gite or accommodation has an "attestation de APF". If they have then APF will have rated the property   For example: Accessibilité avec une certaine autonomie: Access de plein pied, au batiment sans rupture se niveaux a l'interieur possibilité d'utiliser la piece commune circulation autour des 3 côtés d'un lit etc, etc. If you want to see a copy of a certificate - have a look at my website - its on the page - downloads and then certificate of accessibility  

I don't know of any in Seine Maritime but have six accessible apartments in Brittany, Côtes d'Armor - they may be interested!! Please tell them to be aware of Gites de France and tourist board stating places are accessible though - I have visited 127 locally available places all supposedly accessible and actually found three others that I would consider to be accessible....the rest all had "small" steps, or no level access shower, etc. So I would definitely go for somewhere recommended by other wheelchair users.
