Hi This is one of my first posts on this forum [mainly due to my poor typing skills]but have been 'lurking for about three years! I am moving over to France in june for good and would love to get a dog as soon as we arrive. Does anyone kow of any dog homes/rescue centres etc in or around my area [near the bottom of Normandy but in the Sarthe (72)].I would prefer a puppy due to the fact I have three young children and a cat  Thankyou for any advice Vicky.

I am moving to france in June and was hoping to get a dog on arrival. After much disscusion with my children we have decided on a Boxer.I would not be put off by two. However I would need alot more information ie. How old? Good with children etc.Also when do you need them taken off your hands?  Vicky
