  1. Haven't officially moved here permanently  yet -  still have address and doctor in England. But I do not understand the health system at all . Can someone explain very simply ? We intend moving permanently shortly - I am 61 and have a state pension - husband is only 58 (lucky me) and  has occupational pension. Will we get carte vitales? What do they cover? What insurance will we require?
  2. I thought this was a Belle De Jour I've got Belle de Nuit...which does the opposite - flowers at night.
  3. Havent been here for a while so apologise if this has been covered.. Wanted to go back to London for Xmas -children still live there....and get back for New Year......last year used Rodez which we use all the rest of the time....but Ryanair are not flying there during Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb at least.... Is this affecting anyone else? Will have to travel to Toulouse or even Limoges......................

Have just discovered this forum having been directed from another (gardening )forum - we are in St.Gery - on the River Lot - east of Cahors - had the house for 15 years for holidays but have now (last June)  retired here (although we are going to London for two weeks tomorrow)- interested in self sufficiency, writing, painting, food, drink, walking. anyone else out there in the Lot Valley?
