Hi All :) I'm sure this has been covered a dozen times but can't find the answer to my exact quetion. We are moving to France in late July/August. We are planning on getting a puppy (probably before we leave) and taking it with us. He/She will probably only be 8-12 weeks old. Is it possible to take a pup with us? What are the requirement for injections etc etc to get him/her into France? Any advice would be appreciated. I thank you in advance, Matt

Hello All :) Quick question. We are applying for a french mortgage and need to know the address/phone/fax of the notaire. I have checked the Compromis de Vente and I cannot find these details. Is there a website I can get these details from? It's the notaire in St Jean d'Aulps. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you. Matt

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated. Approximately how much more is "slightly" more? It's a private sale, so there is no commission which is a bonus. One last thing, at what point do these fees get paid for?

Hello :) What a great forum. Have been looking for something like this for ages. I've done a search and read lots but are still confused about the fees etc etc involved in purchasing a property in France. The place we are looking at is on the market at 190,000e. It's a barn which is currently an empty shell but included in the price is the bottom floor conversion. Can anyone tell me what fees I can expect to pay on top of the cost of the property? When do they normally have to be paid for? We're just trying to work out if it financially viable and want to make sure we have accounted for everything. I thank you in advance for your help :) Matt
