Hello
Thank you for your reply. I have thought about a UK one because in the case of an emergancy it really wouln't be a problem if that call cost me a fiver. The only potential problem would be that the breakdown number I have is an 08 number and that wouldn't work on a UK phone. I will have to contact my Insurance company and check if there is a French numberI can ring.

p.s. thank you for your kind words about my husband, the care he received and the support I received was second to none.

Hi
Does anyone know of a french pay as you go mobile phone that doesn't require regular topping up. My husband died last year and having one for driving at night in case of a breakdown would be invaluable.

Hi
I use Teleconnect and had the same problem. Rang their technical people who adjusted ONLINE my box and telephone line and no problem since. Do allow at least 20/30 seconds for connection because your call goes through France Telecon, your service provider, British Telecom and finally the person you have rung.
Hope this helps

Thank you very much to all the kind people who responded to my plea, not only for the information but for the speed of your helpfulness. I have been with Tiscali (Alice) for 4 years and have now changed to another provider. The new provider was good enough to email me a very similar letter to yours Clair but they have not said that 2 months notice is required by Tiscali (Alice). I will check their site for the CGU date.
Once again many thanks for your help[:D]

Does anyone have the correct postal address for Tiscali France, I want to cancel my Internet Contract with them so I would probably need client service.
Thanks in advance

[:'(] Help PLEASE
I am infested with flies, anyone else had the same problem and knows of a company in Area 16 that I can call in to get rid of the nest. This time last year I went back to the UK for a month and came back to find (no kidding) at least a 1000 flies dead on the bedroom floors, on top of the wardrobes and all over the beds, horrible but after about 30 minutes of hoovering I thought that was the end of it. This year however they must have told all their mates because they are in all 3 holiday cottages. They must be behind the plaster board so fly sprays are of no use.
