Hi, we've been living in France since last August and loving it. My husband is a builder and currently working on his first new build. He is almost at the stage where he needs an electrician to carry out the full works on the property which is in Martainneville, just off the A28 exit 4. We've had 2 quotes already (both from French electricians)but when we've looked closely and compared prices, the discrepancies are unbelievable. The difference in prices for single items are as much as 300 euros! We don't want to take any work away from a french artisan but if anyone knows of an English electrician in this area, we would appreciate the opportunity to have a chat with him.
