  4.   Hello ,          I think the other Keith is right, weather in this area is bad, hasn't stopped raining since last Saturday with strong winds , several trees down in the village and tomorrow is not looking any better .          So , If you watch Dragons Den you'll have heard the following expression " for that reason I'm out "          Enjoy regards socket
  5. Hello S-Driver,                       Thanks for your reseach and advice on this subject I will have no problems passing this information on.                       Hope to see you on the Saturday rideout, weather permitting                        Regards socket
  6. Hello        I seek some sound advice please,  today someone asked the question " what size motorbike or scooter can I drive in France on an English licence "  He has not passed any test in England , just has his car driving licence        I could'nt advise him , so I'm hoping someone out there can        Regards socket
  7.      Hi bugbear,                      What is the response like for the rideout on Saturday ?                       Regards socket[8-|]
  8. Hello Bugbear,                      Back to sanity at last, yes please , meet you all at Aulnay on route . Look, I don't want to keep on, no no I won't say say anything then, ok you asked so I will . You said " any other locations prefferred " didn't you ? Well what's wrong with C-----k again, SD raves about it , returned with two wenches strapped across the tank and panniers full of loot, carn't be bad !                     Regards socket
  9. Hello SD, pleased to hear you're back, would have thought that you'd had enough of plundering and pillaging after two hard weeks in Cannock . Hi Bugbear, don't worry about your knees, shoulders and elbows , we'll leave you to guard the bikes whilst we do the business Ok Bob T, yes you're welcome , but only as an observer, 'cos we all carry chains and sprockets, and you 'aint got any hav' yer  No Winegum , sorry this is a man's thing                  Regards socket
  10. Hello,       Hold on a minute , I'm confused here, lost the plot. I'm reading about wild dogs, people taking pot shots, others picking out human remains from their radiators, Parisians playing loud music whilst riding jet skis ( how do they do that on farm tracks? ) , horse riders going up against Quads , open season on walkers by drunken hunters and the minority groups telling us how to behave .       In all of this nobody has mentioned the next motorbike rideout, should be good , We've done the scaring of old ladies , handbag snatching and mugging bit . The next one, so we've been promised , is the popular rape and pillage one , that's right in'it bugbear ?       Regards socket
  11.    Hello Mark                    I've tried the company you mentioned , very good . I've settled for Tsubaki chain with Renthal sprockets ,  what do you think ?                    Regards socket
  12.       Really ! that's a shame, putting her to all that trouble , and do you now let her ride up front ?  --------- NO   I thought so !       Regards socket
  13. " but I don't have any chain lube I am afraid."  that's ok Bob, ask Jude ,   [Www]   Regards socket
  14.    Yes I was , but could'nt find anyone to talk to , they're all over 'ere    Regards socket
  15.     I just knew that one or two of those "shafties" would have to make a comment .     Ok, let me deal with Bob T first . Whilst he was very "suttle" about riding infront of his wife on her Honda , he did however offer advice. So Bob, thank you and remember , I don't care what the others say about you, in my book you're ok .     Now , I come to YOU  Sunday Driver , I can understand that some of you may see the humour in his comment, but the real difference between sprocket and socket is that the second has the P and the R missing . these put together stand for "Practique RĂ©ponse" something he was unaware of , but used to being "shafted"          Regards socket
  16. The time is rapidly approaching for the renewal of chain and sprockets . In the past I have always stuck with the original manufacturers replacement spare parts.  However this time I fancy trying a different brand .                There are a lot of manufacturers and suppliers out there which possibly offer better quality and price .                 So , my question to you is ,  Any suggestions , recommendations on named brands and suppliers ?                 No comments please from BMW , Moto Guzzi or Pan Owners  or anyother "dafty shafty " ( you really should'nt know about these things )                 Regards  socket
  17. Hi  Bugbear,                    Is that Chasseneuil sur Bonnieure dept 16 about 12 kilometre north of La Rochefoucauld ? 18. Hi bugbear, when's the next rideout ?  cos I could do wiv a new battery as well           [geek]         Regards socket
  19. " Keith was looking closely at my Triumph "  Hi bugbear,  have you checked to see if you've still got a  battery on your bike ! Thinking about it he was walking abit lop-sided when he left the cafe               Regards socket

  21. Ref . The rideout today   Sunday  4th        It was nice to have meet the other three bikers, and hope you all arrived back safely to a nice warm kitchen .        I don't know about the rest of you , but i was really impressed with Cannock, didn't realise it was a seaside place . 22.            Hello SD, carn't believe the weather is that good , that you have to put the beer in the fridge, I reackon you've forgot where you are ! 23.     You only took six minutes , between my posting and your reply , on that basis I'm beginning to believe this trip to Cannock is possible, but don't go telling SD ,  Ok                 regards socket
  24.   Ok,  let me get this right , we are all now going to Cannock on Sunday to visit SD at his daughters , then load our bikes onto Lovely Wendys new trailer and get back here before teatime  ? Come on bugbear, what happens if he isn't in ? there's nowhere else in Cannock to get a cuppa                       regards  socket
