  1. Hello I'm worried for a friend of ours in the UK as she has recently been told she has a leaky valve on her heart. She has also been told it may be a few months before she could have an operation. My question is - would it be possible to see specialists in France and have the Operation ? I know they would be willing to pay - but I also know patients were being sent to France anyway to cut down on waiting lists . Does anyone know anything about this ? She is retired if that makes any difference Many thanks Carrie

    Teething gel

    >My baby has started teething,so would >appreciate advise on products sold >here to soothe him, I've recently visited the pharmacy for the same reason and was given - Baume 1-res dents - which appears to be a gingival gel to rub into the gums & also they recommended some chamomilla vulgaris pellets ( a herbal remedy ). I also put his dummy in the freezer with water inside it and that seemed to provide some relief Hope this helps regards Carrie
  3. Hello Michal , Please think carefully before considering changes to your appartment that affect the appartment below, no matter how small. It might make you more uncomfortable living there with your neighbours and is it really worth rocking the boat when it sounds as if you are moving on afterwards ? Your time may be best spent finding your country home. Hope this helps Regards Carrie

    Blood Tests

Dear JeanClaude , I hope this following information will be of some help; I have recently had some blood tests done in Villedieu at this address: Laboratoire Dominique BEGUIN 3, Place des Halles Villedieu ( opposite side of the road to the Tourist Office , it is a grey anonymous looking building ) I have been getting a prescription from my doctor and taking that straight to the laboratoire. The facilities are very modern and I have been impressed at being able to collect the results the same day at 5 O'clock. Best of luck with your move Carrie
