Does any one have any idea if Assembly des Francais de l`etranger  have any authority on getting french citizenship for a person?

Any one knows any body. I need a notarie who can speak English, I am in the UK. I am also looking that he/she is reliable and charge me quite reasonably. My case is for french citizenship. Any help please

My mother got married in India in 1972 ( relegious marriage). Now the french dont accept that marriage as it was not transcripted. Can some one have give idea how to legalise the wedding. I have got wedding invitation, photos, letter of the priest who conducted the wedding.  In India it is not necessary to register the wedding esp. in those days no one registered . As the wedding happened in 1972 how to legalise the marriage and therefore the legitimation of my birth will be accepted.My mother is French, she has french passport
