I have recently sold my house and will be moving back to the UK permanently. The people who have bought my house are English and we will all be completing in the next few weeks. As I will be closing my French bank account down, does anybody out there know if the Notaire can pay the proceeds of my house direct into an English bank account, therefore avoiding any expensive transfer fees or will I have to put it in my French bank and then transfer it over to the UK? Or, because my buyers are English, can they pay a sterling cheque direct to me rather than through the Notaire??? Many thanks [:)]

Due to divorce and re-locating back to England, I am looking for a loving home for my two adorable cats. Mitsye is a 4 year old grey tabby/ tortoiseshell female with huge eyes and big paws. Pasta is a 3 year old black and white female with a very pretty face. Both are completely house trained, have been "done" and are micro-chipped. They both have up to date rabies jabs along with passports. Deluxe cat baskets and beds will be supplied along with the first few months of cat food and frontline. Unfortunatley, due to where I am moving back to, it would be too cruel to take them back with me to the UK with the many busy roads, as they are both very much country cats. I absolutley adore them and it will break my heart to see them go, so I am looking for cat-loving people only. Photos can be sent to you if required.  Hello, I am trying to renovate my swimming pool, I've been made aware of some products and have been advised to use a primer and an epoxy paint. We've been looking around and those don't come cheap. I have been in touch with a few suppliers like " West Systems" but they will not supply to private. Does anyone know of any companies anywhere willing to supply directly to us ?
