Hi I'm thinking of spending a month or so in France during the Summer but will need to be able to work while away, so will need broadband access. Rather than relying on any apartment I may rent having access, as that confines the choices quite a lot, I'm thinking about a pay-as-you-go mobile broadband option, if feasible. If someone could shed some light on what the current choices/prices are in France, then I'd be grateful. If network coverage is an issue for consideration, the areas I'm currently thinking of are Sète (Languedoc), Nice and La Rochelle. Many thanks Derek

Hi We're off to stay in the small village of La Bastide sur l'Hers, not too far from Foix and Mirepoix at the end of July and are looking for any advice on what are the best places to go and see as we only have a week there. Are there any vineyards in the area that give tours and tastings? Also, if anyone has any suggestions as to the best places to eat that would be great too. Is there a mozzie problem in that part of France or is it safe to wander out at night without being sprayed up? Many thanks Derek

Thanks for the link, but can't see anything from Marseille to Montpellier here. Anyone know if there is a regular service between the two?

Hi I'm heading to Montpellier in May and am flying into Marseille. I know I can hop on a train to get to Montpellier very easily but, as I have quite a lot of time to kill,  I wondered if there is a coach that runs between the two cities? Many thanks Derek

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum and look forward to delving in a lot as it looks pretty comprehensive. I'm off to Languedoc next summer for a fortnight of blissful relaxation, photography and discovering the local food and wines. However, I thought I'd sneak a third week into the formula by doing a short French course before meeting up with my friends at the villa. However, I'm finding it difficult to find places that do just a week-long course in the general area. I'm probably not looking in the correct places, or maybe there are no such courses, but I thought if they do, someone here can point me in the right direction.
