Does anyone know which is the best cheap rate line to get?I have been told that a number is available that begins 08446 that is non-geographical and is 2p per min to the UK but where do you get it and is it the best overall??  Thanx to all for your help Karen

Can anyone shed light on the subject of what dogs are actually allowed into France pemanently? We have two Cane Corsos( Italian Mastiffs) ,and are actively seeking to move. There seems to be conflicting reports of what dogs can go (Staffies, for instance, cant but plenty seem to be there) Help please!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know how renting out a fishing lake to paying anglers works?I have a french estate agent with very little command of English, but better than my French!!.Some kind of authority is apparently needed but without going over ( which isnt possible this month) we are having trouble with the legislation. The lake is part of a house sale and is privately owned as is the land around it

Hi Shimble. Just a bit concerned about how easy it would be for my 13 yr old daughter to adjust to a French school.We're not too concerned about the younger two (8+6) ,and wondered if there were any English children of similar age that had made the transition without too much trouble. Karen

Can anyone offer guidance? We have definately decided to move (to France) probably in the next 12 months together with our 3 kids (12, 8, 6) ,2 parents (77, 74) 4 dogs and a cat!! The problem is where to start!!. If anyone could give advice on how they coped with schools, pensions, healthcare etc we would be most grateful. We hope to run a fishery or gite enterprise and my husband is a qualified electrician. Depts 53 Mayenne and round Vitre/Laval look nice! Thanks to all
