I am new to this forum. Apologies. I'm sure this question must have come up in the past.  Road Fund [geek]Tax in France - is there one and how much is it and how does it work? I can't remember seeing a T/disc on cars, only insurance, is this correct? Trying to be sensible, the French must make a charge, but I can't find reference to it. We have been told all sorts of weird & wonderful stories by 'Brit' acquaintances! At the moment, we have no intention of buying a car in France, but we have talked about it. Presume the garage would sort it all out.   Snoopy

Hi JamesB, A good magazine, we need one in the Loire Valley too! We have come across a good newspaper The Connexion - www.connexionfrance.com. French News in English. Hi Ron, many thanks for the further info. Sorry not to have replied sooner. Did type in all numbers correct, several dozen times! If France T.C. can't understand whats happening, no chance for me then. We are also back in UK now, will take it up again on next visit, soon. Thanks.

Hi, we are having the same problem. Two weeks trying to sort out, get as far as 'Error 9' thats it. We have even been to France T, they have failed to sort it. Help. Perhaps its my brains age and not LiveBox!  Snoopy
