We are gite owners with a main house and 2 separate gites in the same grounds. In 2007 our TH was based on the main house only. We have just received TH for 2008 which has increased by 344% and is now based on 3 separate houses. Can anybody shed any light to these changes? gigi[8-)]

We have put 2 of our properties on this website within the last week. Following the advert we have had 3 enquiries by email.  We replied by email and telephoned two of the parties but have not managed to contact anyone nor have they replied to us.  We are beginning to think that these enquiries are not from real people.  Has anyone else had similar experience with this website? Thank you Benjamin At the moment we have 2 cars but when we move to France we will be looking to sell these and buy one car.  My husband and brother have had a look at some cars in Boulogne but found they were not as cheap as first thought.  We were looking for something along the lines of a Citroen Xsara.  Do we just have to look around or are there recommended places to go?  We thought of selling our cars in England and buying a left hand drive but my husband wanted to buy a car in France so it would be registered over there.      

Hi Q1 - We will shortly be moving over to France running a Gite/Cottage business.  Can somebody please tell me what the norm is and how payments are received.  Can someone suggest the preferred system for receiving these payments.
