Having bought what seems to be a well produced oak stair kit from Brico depot I'm now about to put the thing together It looks as straight-forward as any such undertaking might be but I just thought others on this forum might have assembled such a kit and would ask if they have any tips or tricks to make the thing easier and less likely to creak in years to come?
