  1. You know some people, unfortunately, have the kinda face you just want to slap??? New man has one of them.

I managed 2 mins before having to swear at the tellybox and leave the room. He is soooooo patronising. [:@]

For the record, i haven't peed on my compost.

  2. Charente is nasty!! It was cold yesterday which was bearable as the sun was out. Today a biting strong wind and drizzly stuff. 3 degrees. Evil.

Suppose i'd better stop finding other jobs to do and get out there working. [:'(]

    Oh well soon be summer..........

    WINTER IS HERE!

Not wishing to be pedantic, but 'winter' starts on the 22 december.  Daylight Saving Time starts tomorrow.

Or as my stupid calendar keeps telling me SUMMER TIME ENDS.  [:(]

Anyway, fiver say's i'll be blinking freezing to within an inch of my life well before 22 December!! That makes it winter for me!! [:(]

    Stoopid clocks, stoopid winter. [:(]

  4. Pads! Don't forget.......it doesn't matter what you wear, just as long as you are there!! (i.e....sod the spelling!)

Mrs House, you're probably right, although there are still the hooge population already over here. Although maybe a lot of the questions have been answered already. Maybe if you 'accidentally' broke the search button it'd pick up? [:)]

I shall now call this phase  the 'Forum Crunch'.

I bought a hand-held steam cleaner, thinking it would be a useful way of assessing whether a more expensive heavier duty version would be a good buy. I didn't therefore expect miraculaousmiraculaousmiraculaousmiraculaousmiraculaousmiraculaous results, but, although it appears to be working correctly, I am not able to really see any benefits when using it. I have tried it on the oven, small marks on carpets, shower tiles etc and am underwhelmed. Am I doidPouyadedingPouyade or are they just not as dPouyaded?

    Pouyade

SNAP!!! I did exactly the same. I've wanted one for ages, and was specifically after a wee hand held one, just for the shower, cooker hob etc. But yup, it's pants! You didn't  get the Dirt Devil one on offer at Lidl a few weeks back did you??? [:D]

  7. I had a summer of not really looking on here very often.  Over the last couple of weeks i have been following the forum more regularly and it is really so soooo slow on here now. I know it has its moments of going a bit quiet, maybe its just that...... or is it slowly on the way out?

Any thoughts, or is it just me thinking this??

I hate to see cries for help as it is so often a last resort to post on an open forum just to be able to have some communication. From reading between the lines you have had a very traumatic time that will of course have repercussions in your personal life as it is also hard for partners to be either sympathic or patient for very extended periods of time, please seak counselling now don't leave it any longer and try to involve your partner as they may well need guidance too, if they won't go go your self get some mental strength back, and start to regain the control over your life, don't STAY a victim, this is all easy to say I know but start with making a phone call. If necessary go back to the UK for some specific councelling, I only suggest this as it is necessary to have an indepth conversation with a trained counsellor that specialises in this kind of trauma and in your own tongue, there may well be some one here that can help if so great but start now.

I hope you feel better with your self soon, you can change this spirral of unhappiness.

So sorry to hear of your situation.

Don't forget there is a whole range of people on this forum that can help in many different ways, so if you need anything just ask away.

    Best wishes.
