All morning he was trying to get  emails. He started up his old computor and got them off there. His computor was a Imac english; He can get everything on the new one; internet, hotmail, but no outlook express. He has the icon for it but cannot get email . Please help me to help him, thank you. For the sake of my sanity yet alone his. Could someone please help me to help my hubbie. He has a new computor. He can get his hotmail email, but not his wanadoo fr. I had done a bit of research and think it maybe pholas dactylus which bores holes in marly limestone. I need to find out what the stone is on the Il .I think this is a possibility.

I have just found 7 caterpillars on my fennel plant. Extremely pretty. Lime green, black stripes with orange spots. I think I have identified it as some sort of swallowtail. I had lots of different tpes in my garden this year. I am just not sure what sort. I would insert a photo, but I don't know how to do it onto a post.

I dont think it is just natural weathering. Some stones have many holes in.

Yesterday I spent the day on the Ile d ré. I went a walk (in the pouring rain) on the beach to see if I could find a pebble with a hole in it. To my amazement there where hundreds.The stones seem to be sandstone/limestone very soft with very deliberately made holes in them . Obviously some creature, anyone any idea please. I love 'holey' pebbles, never have I seen so many in one place. Thank you

Broad beans seems a possibility. I have never seen such big Lupin seeds. I believe the protugese eat them as an apperitif. They were with dried  beans, lentils.  They don't look appetising at all. Thank you for the translation.

I have just bought a  tiny bag of this out of curiosity. At least I think they are edible Lupin seeds. I got them from Carrefour. Does anyone know what I do with them, they are dried. Quite a large seed. Not like Lupins back in UK.  I obviously have to soak them. Has anyone tried them?

A couple of friends have recently bought ORD 9540 OPTEX, Free to air sattelite digital recievers. Neither can get them to work. They cannot even find the menu system. I am told to say system keeps going to Hotbird instead of Astra. They know they are cheap, and  also French boxes but just can't get them to work. Any ideas please.

I came with my cat on a 9 hour journey. She cried all the way. I used an incontinence sheet for adults in her box. They are very absorbent. I changed it three times, but she wasn't wet. She did do a poo on it too. What a smell ! I just wrapped the onconto sheet up and disposed of it, carefully.

Very friendly and a very good mother. She had four kittens I have taken 2. She has managerd to survive bcecause people give her scraps. She had her kittens in a friends grenier, unknown to us until we discovered them 2 weeks ago. She is black and white. Kittens male/female maybe 8 weeks old. Grey tabby. Need weaning. I was so delighted a week ago when I came across 20+ Bee Orchids, and 15 +Lady Orchids growing at the side of the road in my village. St Martin d'Entraigues dept 79; I have beep up there a few times a day, and just been so amased at their beauty. Imagine my horror when I went up there tonight and find that they have all gone. The banks have all been cut, and all the wild flowers have been destroyed. Dead bee orchids not a pretty site. I would like to express my sadness to the Marie, but my french isn't good enough. Can anyone help please.I would like to know if they are endangered species in France. I am so distressed at this 'unintentional' vandalism. Every grass verge gets cut back like this, they all look bald and horrible now. 

My friend died, and her family said I could have her car, as they didn't want to go through the trouble of taking it back to England. Somehow they threw away the garte gris. How on earth can I get the car changed to my name. It was english and has all other papers but no carte gris.  Thank you

I have to go for my annual review soon. I suffer from depression and panic attacks. I feel it is important to take someone with me to help with translation,. Depression isn't like a broken leg you can see. I cannot adaquatly describe how I feel in French. I still have to do all the other bits, bend, lift arm ect which I can do, but it is difficult to explain in French those inner feelings cause by depression. I had a letter from Limoge this time, last year it was Niort.Why the change I know not.

Sadly, I need to consider one of the above. Married in UK. Both of us resident in France. I just can't seem to find out what to do. I would like it to be as amicable as possible neither wants anything from the other.  Thank you
