Can anyone tell me if planning permission is needed to put up a wooden garden workshop (or large shed really). The approx size is likely to be about 20x10. If we do have to obtain planning permission anyone know where I get the forms from?   thanks

You have stated he is a plumber but will he be able to complete the electrical work required as well ? as we need to change from convector heating to oil fired? Thanks for your help.

Hello there, I also live near Orbec and have been looking for a plumber who can change our heating from convector to oil fired. Not having any luck although I have tried artisans-anglais via Living France and have trawled the pagesjaunes and sent emails etc all to little effect. Did you manage to track any one down? and if so would you recommend them? if you would could you please forward the information on to me? thanks[*-)]

We have a house in region 27 south of Rouen and sandwiched between Bernay and Orbec. Very pretty country but then where isn't?. I am probably going to regret sending this email but I can not stand by and see my darling husband in anguish. You see he is a keen fisherman particularly carp. I have tried to find lakes where he could purchase day tickets or even join on an annual basis but it seems that no one wants to know unless you want to spend a holiday in their resort. Cany anybody help?
