Can anyone give me a rough idea on how much does it cost to have a piece of land connected with water and electricity. The land currently lacks any of it but there are houses around the land. Thanks for your reply. Pat

Does anyone possess a Minitel or has access to one? I need some information only available from it and i am currently in the UK. It is posssible to load the minitel into the PC but it takes time and i would need to subscribe and open an account. It would be silly to do such a thing as i only need to use the minitel once. We are about to proceed with the sale of our French property. We will be owner of a house to renovate and a a piece of land currently "non-constructible" described as an agricultural land. Could anyone tell us if the land could be constructible in the future. Aosl, the compromis the vente has been signed and the date of the sale set 8 9 weeks afetr that. The notaire said it was to allow for the "SAFERE"(?) to decide if it wants the land or not. Does anyone ever encounter this organisation? We believe it is a sort of Assoc. of farmer but we are not sure. Thank you all for your help.
