We are just in the process of selling our house here in the UK and still do not know what region of France we are moving to! Help! can anybody give me any infomation on the Mid-Pyrenees (good, or bad) because on paper we love it, but with a family in tow it needs to be good for us all! Also we are intending to have a gite or 2, failing that, my hubbys excellent at decorating, plumbing, carpentry etc. Are there any requirements for him in this area, do you think?

Although my husband and I like the "quiet" life, I feel sure that my, soon to be, teenager daughters would enjoy a bit of "life"! Infact any info on this area would be much appreciated-thanks
