TAX RELIEF ON DOUBLE GLAZING, LOFT INSULATION ETC
sueyh replied to Possett Lady's topic in French Finance
Also has to be installed by artisan I think. Not buy it and install yourself. We came unstuck when we bought our double glazing and had it fitted by a friend!! Suey -

Hi Coops, we go to the Newbury Winter Festival three day meeting. This year was superb racing, including seeing the Fighting Fifth as an extra race, transferred down from Newcastle. Also seeing Denman come home safely in third place. The atmosphere is amazing. I appear to have opened a can of worms (sorry about that!!). But I think those guys certainly earn their crust, they pick themselves up and get back in there as soon as possible. Unlike the namby pamby footballers they don't get paid hundreds of thousands of pounds a year, so have to get fit again, because if they don't ride they don't get paid!! (Well if they do it is only generally their retainer). Suey -
Good luck Cathy, you are in our thoughts Suey

Am I right in thinking that if you replace your old single glazed windows with double glazed you can claim a tax allowance? If so how do I go about it. Suey

Here in the Pas de Calais it has been quite unpleasantly hot, however went to the coast yesterday and there was a nice sea breeze. Now 16 degrees, at 7.15 am but expecting 30 + today, just hope it rains soon, storms threatened for the weekend. Suey

does anyone know of a washing machine engineer near Hesdin. My friend has a Hotpoint which is making a strange noise when it spins, like something has broken off or is rubbing. It is still spinning the water out though. Suey
