Could also be cookie settings on your computer. Try reducing the privacy setting and if it isn't that you can change it back.

In Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Privacy...and then adjust the slider down.

Good point. The only threads that can be posted in more than one section are announcements for all members by Admin.

 

Please keep to the topic of the original thread and do not start more than one thread about the same topic in different sections. This will help users to locate the information that they are looking for and will save space on the servers.

You could try adding [email protected] to your address book in "spam settings" or similar as an address which you would like to accept mail from.

I know some ISP's won't allow automated emails from the forum (eg AOL) but I didn't think that your ISP did this.

Do you receive normal email sent through the forum?

All email notifications should be working OK at present.

Could you check to see if you have the correct address within your profile and that your ISP is accepting the emails.

I can sort this for you so that you login with the AOL address (ie give you a new password) but you might be better off with the other address as the AOL address won't receive the email notifications or emails from the forum?

I have created a 'working with wood' section as there seems to be demand for it ...wouldn't want you all to 'log off' from the forum if it wasn't added...
