My family and I are due to move to Mulhouse within the next 6 to 8 weeks. We've been searching the internet trying to find agencies who provide long term rental leases, but without success. Ideally we're trying to find a 3 to 4 bedroom house (typical family type) within a 5 to 10 mile radius of Mulhouse. Is it a case of approaching the local immobilier for such details? It's a long shot, but does anyone know of an organisation who provides this service? Hope you can help, thanks.

Firstly, I'm not too sure whether or not this is in the correct section, but here goes. My wife, son (aged 3) and I are due to move to the Vosges region of France within the next 3 months. My wife has been fortunate to find employment at one of the local hospitals, as she's a fully qualified nurse in renal care (kidney failure). We are frantically trying to rap up things here in the UK and we're hoping that fellow ex-pats could share what they did and learnt with regards the essential things to do (both here in the UK and also France) in preparation for the BIG move. We have a rather large list which is growing all the time, so rather than us list all the 'things to do' it will be greatly appreciated if you could pass on any information. Hi My wife is currently looking for suitable nursing working within the Auvergne region (hopefully around Clermont-Ferrand area 63). She is a haemodialysis nurse (kidney failure) and has applied directly to all the local hospitals/units within the area in which we hope to move to (La Bourboule/Le Mont-Dore) but had no replies/success. We were wondering if any UK nurses have gone through the same process and been successful in finding suitable work. If so, is there a main contact in France to go through, maybe similar to the UK's 'Royal College of Nursing'. Any information in finding specific nursing work will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yep.... it might be an option. I could be wrong, but it looks like a quicker road from Limoges on the D979 compared to St. Etienne and the D996. Thanks again though for the advice

Can you get a direct flight to Clermont-Ferrand from any of the main UK airports (Manchester, Heathrow, etc). Thanks
