Hi, Does anyone know of any immo companies (on the web ideally) that specialise in the sale of gite complexes and potential gite complexes. I'm looking to purchase either a going concern or set one up, but the job of trawling the web would be easier if I could focus on gite specialists, rather than discarding probably 95% of the search results. I'm interested in following areas (as yet undecided!) Poitou-Charentes Languedoc-Rousillion Midi-Pyrenees. Also, are there any granny networs there yet? Regards, Simon Mc

I have been a rare sufferer of epilepsy, although the condition is now being controlled by medication. Here in the UK if I were to suffer a fit, I would have to surrender my drivers license for a minimum of 12 month's fit-free. Can anyone tell me what the guidelines are in France (as I'm hoping to live over there permanently), and this is something important I must consider. Many thanks in advance, Simon.

Hi, In the UK I receive all my presciptions free of charge due to the nature of my illness (long-term) If I were to move to France, will the same or similar rule apply? Any guidelines or experiences of this? I ask mainly because I am hoping to live over there, but obviously need to know how much I *may* end up paying in regular presciption charges. Thanks, Simon.

Hi all, My wife and I are considering making the move from England to France. She is a GP and would like to continue working as a GP in France. Does anyone have any info on what needs to be done to retrain for the job in France? Perhaps some of you know of British doctors working in Frnace who would be willing to offer a little of their experience? Does anyone have knowledge of the GP system in France and/of locum work as a GP? Many many thanks in advance. Simon.
