Just from our own experience, had we rented first, we would have packed up when the going got VERY tough.Nearly 6 years later we are still here and there are still tough times occasionaly (but these days nothing to do with being in France just teenage stuff. lol) but does feel like home now. wisteria

I have been having these emails for the last 3 years, wanting to book usually the gite but occasionaly B&B .I have had them from Nigeria, South Africa and recently from Canada, there is usually a mention of god somewhere in it! normally at the end. Once you have sussed one out the rest are easy to spot. wisteria

Thanks for your reply. I dont prefer salt as i dont know enough about all the different types (maybe you can enlighten me). As i swim several times a week, the chlorine plays havoc with my hair (dont want to wear a hat)and was looking for an alternative. As i said , we are complete novices and would like as much info/ideas/peoples experiences as poss. The pool would probley be 'added' onto the house at the end, and as we have a gite and B&B dont just want to rely on what we are told by any company. Thanks wisteria

With the new regs for pools etc what are the regs for an indoor pool? Also , does anyone have an indoor salt pool? can you give me some info please ie:what salt do you use, how much, how often that sort of thing - a complete  beginner here. Thanks. wisteria
