Is there anybody that can help me with the above. We are permanently relocating to France sometime in the next 6 months, with our three children. Initially neither myself or my wife will be working as we intend to renovate our property and set up our business. We have sufficient funds to cover us for the three years that we expect this to take. My question is that, whilst we certainly do not intend to rely on the state to support us, would we be entitled to family allowance and are there any qualifying periods or criteria that need to be met first ? Any help on this would be gratefully received.
