1. Thanks for that Christine.  I have already been keeping an eye on the site but they don't seem to have much movement on the pony front at the moment.[:(]
2. Have you tried liberal doses of white pepper?  Worked for me.[:-))]
3. If any of you know of one who is looking for a new home, could you please let me know.  We don't want anything smaller than 13.2 hands and not bigger than 14.2 hands.  We would prefer a Gelding and something hardy.  Age wise, something between 8 and 15 years.  A kind temperament is important as he would be for a novice to hack around the lanes (accompanied) or in the field.  Nothing showy required and this is reflected in our budget. Thanks [:D]  Sorry, forgot to say we are near Percy (50)
4. I think it's 170sq.m of habitable space[:)]
5. GOOD MORNIN' LIVING FRANCE!!!  - Did that wake you up?  Bet you lot have some juicy hangovers this morning [+o(]- Bisodol/Paracetamol anyone? [:P]  Serves you right you naughty lot[6]  Welcome back Miki[:-))]
6. Apparently I was in breach of their Terms & Conditions - Not sure which one exactly - I was actually asking for a good reason - I wasn't being sarcastic - I haven't been banned from the site yet.  Now, I know you can get into trouble for working on the black and for employing people who are working on the black but can companies who are paid to advertise these businesses get into trouble too?[8-)]
7.
The good news about that survey is that we won't meet all those respondents who have such a low opinion of the French, in France. Which makes it all the better.
I have a horrible feeling that some of them are here already.....................Aaaaaaagh[:(]
8.
You're lucky it wasn't simply deleted, Harley - it's rare to see a locked thread 'over there'.
Now I'm really proud.....................[:-))]
9. Will said:                                                                                                                                                                            It wouldn't have the words Info and Anglo in its title, surely? Going on from Mrs O's comments (stunned) I've seen a brilliant example of non-French speak on our local AI site - "We are looking to buy a column barge type house". I know you shouldn't laugh, but... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hmmm........................could be. And I always thought they were boats on stilts............................................How wrong can you be[:-))]
10. Hubby was thrilled when he realised that his piccie was being used for my Avatar[:-))]
11. On noticing a couple of companies pop up in our area (advertising on another site) that were in the same line of work as my other half but who failed to mention wether they were registered businesses or not, I asked a question on the site Forum.  It was simply, did they check or ask for siret numbers etc before being paid to advertise said companies as some other sites do, or not.  Guess what, they locked my thread.[:'(]  Guess that answered my question nicely.  Jeepers - I hope this one's not going to get deleted.  I just wanted to say how thrilled I am to have joined that particular club.  Must be getting rebellious in my old age[:-))]
12. Thanks for that.  As soon as he said it I thought it seemed a very strange idea.  I will speak to our electrician direct, rather than our project manager, who doesn't seem to know his proverbial from his proverbial sometimes.  Cheers![:-))]
13. We are having a house built and although this is already under way, I am interested in Solar panels to heat our hot water.  Does anyone have any experience of this re costs etc in Manche (50).  Also, we have been told that we have to seek approval from EDF beforehand.  Is this true?  [:)]
14. Does anyone have any of this variety (thick stemmed) that they will be splitting this year?  Would love to buy some but only ever see the spindly stuff.  Thanks.  I am near Percy (50)

Regards ps I can even iron shirts Ah yes but these are all things you do sitting down - now that's something you chaps are good at[:P]  It doesn't really qualify as multi-tasking does it - or shall we we cut them some slack girls?[;-)]
16. No pretending necessary - definately all woman - As for Mr Darcy................Just getting my fix on that front too.  Everytime I log on I swoon..................Aaaaah[;-)]
17. Hubby has just switched from Transmanche to LD because, although TM are cheaper they seem to have great difficulty keeping to their schedules.  Journey time goes out the window and do they care..............................................................................................................[:(]
18. I like to give myself five minutes on LF in the morning.  It's better than a strong cup of coffee.  I can, however, only manage this because I am a female and therfore able to multi-task[;-)]
19. [:D]Good morning all.  The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the wild flowers peppering the lawn are swaying gently in the breeze, looking fab, nice tan, swinging in hammock under the Walnut tree, just being handed a long cool drink by a rather hunky George Clooney................................beep beep beep beep beep....................Oh hell is that the alarm clock, bags under eyes, crick in back, school run, lost swimming kit,  will you pleeease go and clean your teeth (10th time of asking).  Dog chasing the cats, can't find the car keys.  Anyone seen my Rose Coloured Specs.  I need 'em bad![:-))]
20. It's a great pity there is not a lot going on in our area (Normandy, West).  We love to watch Timeteam and my daughter (10) is fascinated by the subject and would really enjoy getting involved in this kind of thing.[:(]
21. Does anyone know the latest on these awful things?[:(] - Have seen an increase in anti-HT Line signs going up by the roadside.[:P]
22. Ok, who got their fingers rapped this time?  I do wish people wouldn't remove threads without any kind of explanation!  It's so damn rude[:@]
23. Haven't done much shopping in the UK since they introduced chip'n'pin but when I did the keypad was always secured in an area where you could be overlooked by the shop assistant and the line of people waiting to be served and unless you crouched low over the key pad and put your hand over the top, then everyone could see what you were punching in![;-)]
24. What a super idea - I don't see how anyone could be offended by such a lovely gesture.[:)]
