[How many Brits living in France]

My Granddaughter ( Living in France ) asked me how many British people are living in France?  I thought I read somewhere here sometime ago an article giving such information,  Could someone out there direct me to where I could find out the statistics relating to this question

[Is it true? free d'habitation taxes for over sixty-fives ?]

I have just had our d'habitation tax arrive through the door and the increase needs looking into but in the meantime I have been looking through a book purchased several years ago as a " Guide to living in FRance "  and under a paragraph relating to (nil tax bill,) it continues to say;  "and if you're over sixty-five you're let off the tax d'habitation on your house "etc.,,  Can any one confirm this information

Yes !!  We have had ours in and I am sitting down, need to check on why it has increased so much.  I would also like to pose a question;  I have just been reading a book as a guide to living in France and it mentions in relation to " Nil tax bill " that if you are over sixty-five you are let off the tax d'habitation on our house and TV licence fee.  Can anyone confirm this please

Hi am about to sell my right hand drive 4x4 Frontiera.  When I have a buyer, what do I need to do to pass the vehicle into his or her ownership. ie; what ; pieces of paper do I need to fill in etc.

[Best deals on mobiles in France ?]

Have recently joined the ear muffs and purchased our first mobile phone Buying it in France left us with every info in French Were informed that for 18 euros we would have 5 hours if some of the time not used would be transferred to next month.  Switched it on and received one or two text messages, used it once for 5 minutes ringing France from England and found out no credit was left.  So !! which is the best deal being offered where we will only be using the mobile in emergencies and would like to pay as we go.  Thank you
