Thanks for your reply. I was surprised that we hadn't had a discussion on this topic earlier.  However, it was confirmed today by a friend (a French Estate Agent).  He did not know the full extent and detail fo the new law but will let me know asap. As soon as I get more detail I will post it on this site.

Can anyone shed any light on the above subject? We have recently been informed by a french lady that as from September no one will be able to make more than 3% profit on their 2nd home.  Also, that there has been a lot of trouble in the North of France over English people buying homes?  

Friends of ours have a holiday home near Limoges and regularly leave their car parked at the airport during visits , sometimes for up to two months at a time . We have recently heard that this facility is being withdrawn and that any car parked there for more than three weeks will be towed away. This will obviously cause them a lot of problems if correct. Has anyone else any information about this please. Tom

Having recently gone through a very bad experience with a French based , English run removal company , I am attempting to obtain his insurance companies details to claim for damage caused during the move from mid to south France. Despite letters , phone cals and e mails , I am getting nowhere. Can anyone suggest my best options prior to legal action. Thanks Tom

Having recently moved to Villeneuve sur lot from dept 87 I am finding it difficult to obtain wooden fencing posts to fence my land off in order to cotain my sheep and horses. If anyone knows of any local suppliers I would be most greatful for their names and locations thanks Tom
