Who cares You should for a start. Why have you bothered to register and put something into the French system? I have a Sony television with DVD player, video recorder and Panasonic digibox, all bought in UK. On a friends system, his television automatically switches in and out of widescreen mode as he changes channels but mine doesnot.  I've tried programming the tv but no avail. Any experts out there know what I'm doing wrong? Les
