I don't know if this will be the right place to ask this question, but here goes. We have a Charentaise farmhouse with stone outbuildings, which are all built in a circle around a central courtyard. We have been told by a local farmer, whose dialect we had difficulty understanding, that this is the only farmhouse in the area so constructed and that in times gone by it would have been the central farm for the farmers in the area to come and trade. We have also been told that parts of the outer wall and the open fronted barn date back to mediaeval times and, from their construction, we could believe this. Is there a French historian who could enlarge on this and either confirm or otherwise our farmer's tale. BB

Has anyone experience in France of Saniflow and their range of materials for 'hard to plumb' spaces? We have just obtained a brochure which contains some quite impressive designs, not dissimilar to our system in France. We would be interested to hear from anyone who may have used any of their products - sanivite, sanipro, sanishower, saniplus, saniflow, sanitop, sanipack or sanichasse. If so, where have you found the outlets? Thanks in anticipation. BB
