Does anyone know what the French for log splitter is and where I might buy one?  Any idea of the cost?  Thanks

Our French car is due its first MOT in June.  Unfortunately we will not be back in France until July.  Is it OK to have this gap before getting it done or do we need to have it done at the right time?  The car is garaged and will not be on the road.  If we can't do that would it be OK to MOT it in April when we are in France?  Thanks for any advice.  

I have just received a devis for 2,352.45 euros for raking out and repointing 49.52sq m of wall.  I was shocked - should I have been?  Seems an awful lot to me.

I have a French registered car which usually stays in France but I would like to take it back to the UK sometimes between visits.  Does my French insurance cover me in the UK and if so for how long?

This might be great fun but I had the misfortune to buy the CD.  My PC crashed both times I tried to install it and it cost me a lot of money to have it put right.  I had to have Word reinstalled and lost everything on my hard drive.   WordPROF want nothing to do with my loss, they say they are covered in the small print.  Be warned. 

I wish I knew where everyone gets their "cheap" fares from. My fare for a car plus two adults on 7 July returning 22 July is costing 404. I don't think I'll be using this route again!
