Hi We moved to France Sept 01 with our 2 children aged 9 and 7. They have settled in really well, and have picked up the lingo very quickly, more than I probably realise, for example: just the other day at the vets, my little girl asked if she could wash her hands, she did this all in French and didn't bat an eye lid, the vet understood her first time and even carried on having a conversation with her in FRENCH, I was amazed! I don't know too much about the schools, but I am very pleased with the one they attend. As long as they are happy, which they seem to be, I am happy. The younger the better, I'm sure yours will be fine. Good luck Louise
