Hello I've searched through these forums and see lots of information about moving money from the UK to France, but nothing about moving money the other way. I live and work in France at the moment and have some money I want to move back to the UK. I phoned HIFX and they said I'd have to wire funds from my French account to them, which since they are UK-based would incur international charges with my French bank. That seems to defeat part of the object of using HIFX, even if the rates are still attractive. Has anyone got any recommendations on the best way to move my money back to the UK? Maybe there are companies who do the same thing as HIFX but based in (or at least with a presence in) France? We're talking around 25K euro now and another 15K euro six months' time.
