Hi Everybody, This is my first post, so please be gentle ! My husband and I are in the early stages of thinking of moving to France and we are planning to run holidays. We've been looking at mortgages and loans, but I'm a bit stuck on one bit... Mortgages on the whole seem to be for residential properties, so we would have to find a specialised company if we needed a mortgage If we need a mortgage or loan for the business, your repayments must be no more than a third of your income Rental income from a business is not counted as income for the purpose of calculating a loan.   So if the rental income is our only income, are we stuffed in getting any kind of loan ?!? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick (or indeed missed the whole bloomin tree..) Thanks very much in advance ! H
