Thanks for all help regarding RIB, knowing what words are and knowing what they actually mean is not always the same thing, being a new home owner I am just beginning to build on my campsite french. I get the impression that if I send a copy of a bank statement that will do the job. Thanks again.

I know what words the R.I.B. abbreviation stands for but what actually is an R.I.B. I have been asked for one to accompany a form I have filled in but I am not sure what to send.

Does anyone know of a good book that gives translations of french building and materials terminology? I have just received a quote for what I thought would be a small job and the quote is very detailed with many words that my various dictionaries do not have.
