Having recently arrived in Deux-Sevres, I would love to find some local dishes/recipes. No luck so far, anyone know of any?

We have just got our CPAM attestations and need a doctor. My partner is diabetic and needs to get regular insulin supplies. Can anyone recommend a doctor in this area? My partner has around 2 weeks supply left.. Is this enough time to ensure a doctor can start a new regular supply?

Hi Turners What department are you in? There are good alternatives to simply having your own website and all the issues of design hosting, maintenance, changing content, search engine visibility. There are possibilities to have sites where you can (on-line) maintain your own details (words, photos, enquiry forms, newsletters - if you build up lists of potential clients, etc) without having to go to your designer each time and paying for all these changes. As far as I know you should buy an "official" box (outlets as other replies) and not try and make your own or use one from the UK. Posties have master keys so they can deposit anything too large for the opening.

Recently whilst clearing a lof, I found some loose floor boards. On lifting them I discovered that underneath were corn stalks/heads, onions, and walnuts. None looked recently placed there, but has anyone an idea why they would have been put there in the first place and by whom (or even what)?
