We will be moving to Lessac, near Confolens (16) permantly in May 2005, and have found that there are not many secondhand mopeds for sale out there. As the mopeds in France all seem to have no number plates...........do they have to be registered .....like in England !!. We are wondering if it would be ok to bring a couple of mopeds with us and just take off number plates, but obviously get insurance etc. I know that if we bring our car with us, we have to get in registered in france etc..........but is it the same with mopeds !!! Any help greatly appreciated
