Hi, my husband and I will be moving to France next year.  I am planning to do some temp work there as I am French but the problem is that I learnt to type on a QWERTY keyboard!  Has anyone been in the same situation, do temp agencies make an allowance for foreign typists (LOL)?  I know it is possible to switch the keyboard from French to English but would that be acceptable to a French employer?  Thank you, Isabelle

Hello, my husband and I are planning to move to France next year (he's a Brit, I am French) and we are concerned about health issue because he suffers from heart failure and had to take early retirement last year.  He gets Disability Living Allowance at the highest rate for Mobility but not Incapacity Benefit because his pension is too high (ha ha ha!).  Will he still be entitled to DLA in France or is there a French equivalent we have to apply for?  How about social security benefits?  Would he be eligible for 100% coverage or a lesser rate?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you, Isabelle

Hi, although I was born in France, I have spent half of my adult life in the UK and the US and I am planning to return to France with my British husband and French son (we weren't married when he was born so he's a French national!).  I work in the UK as a dog groomer (2 year ASET diploma) and dog trainer (HNC Canine Behaviour & Training) and I was wondering how to get my British qualifications assessed by the French authorities and what necessary steps to take in order to set myself up in business there?  I have heard about the "Certificat de capacite" but that's about it!  Does anyone have any advice?  Thanks in advance, Isabelle
