We jsut did our bit and turned our lights off for 5 minutes - it will be interesting tomorrow to find out how many other people did the same.

Where do you get it from Pads - do you order it online or can you get in supermarkets?

HiI so hesitate to say this - but why are you using a name when you are not sure how you want to pronounce it, never mind everyone else!Best wishes to you both

Admittedly they are not very exotic but I find that the Francine flours are absolutely fine. Two thirds muti grain and one third either basic pain or pain de campagne makes a very nice loaf.

As I understand it an E109 will cover the partner living in France while the one living in UK will use the new version of what used to be the E111 if emergency treatment is necessary in France.

We do the same - return the deposit as soon as the weeks are re-let.

Yes it freezes really well - surprisingly even the soft cheeses like camembert. With the harder ones, the longer you freeze them the crumblier they get when you defrost but they are fine for a few weeks - after a couple of months they are probably best used to cook with. I only discovered this about a year ago - after wasting quite a lot each time we had friends round for a meal!

We're getting "no satellite signal is being recieved" so presumably it's encrypted?

We live in the centre of a village and one of the main streets leads directly to our house - it is always decorated for Christmas and in fact the lights are in position now but not turned on yet. So of course we have to decorate the outside of our house or it would look like a black hole .. so ours are in position but not yet lit. Sad????

Good idea about the folder - I'll do that.

I think I've cracked it - you also have to click on the "notify" iconat the top of the page for the particular thread - then it changes frombeing coloured to being one colour - and I only had one emailthis morning (don't know how that one got through!).

Me too! Is there anything else that we have to do? I sometimes curse that word game....

There's one in our village - St Varent on Saturday 9th Dec from 1500 until midnight.

We had ours raised to the maximum - but the way round it is to pay by cheque instead of card.

We just had a delivery yesterday from Amazon.co.uk using an Englishcredit card registered to our French address. Quite often you canfind stuff in the "Anglais" section in .fr which is imported from.comin the States rather than .co.uk and so it's more expensive. Itoften pays to look at the same item on .fr, .co.uk and .com.
