  1. To answer your question, apart from training your dog, follow these steps. Scarify vigorously, twice in the spring and twice in the autumn. In spring seed and water daily where you have seeded for at least two weeks, preferably three. Should do the tick. The Rake
  2. Japanese knotweed has been known to have roots 3 meters DEEP. And can break concrete slabs. There are two ways of dealing with it. Dig it up, and remember that even if you leave just a little bit in the soil, it will start all over again, and soon. We used a mini digger to get rid of ours. Second option Move, easier, cheaper in the long run and a lot less work.
  3. Whats it like bringing plants from france to the UK? My neighbour is often over for the day or week-end, and asked me if he could bring back plants he sees over there? Given the paranoia in the UK there must be some law or other, anyone help. He asked cause he saw really cheap tomato plants over Easter, and pointers..
