  1. Coming over to France next week Liverpool to Limoges needed a hire ,car hertz offer free flight nice one have some of that.Try and book a flight from Liverpool to all points south you guessed it none available.Nothing in life is free but gets my back up when i get stitched up.

Yes it is easy to get round paris, i go on the N104 to the A6 you just have to look out for your road signs and the nutters on bikes.The best times are usually after rush hour at night say after 7pm and early in the mornings say befor 5am.The weekends are best as less trucks on the road and early sunday is great only takes me about 40 min.
  4. We are returning to France next week and my wife is looking to buy a tumble dryer and is wondering how good the condenser dryers are.Any good brands you can advice on , many thanks.
  5. I did a lot of looking before i bought a husqvarna 365 and am very happy with it.Chain tensioning is a simple job but for me buying any piece of equipment is about taking advice, research and then personnel preference.
  6. We paid a deposit into the notaires account prior to the sale and both parties signed on the same day.We all then went back to the house for a glass of bubbly,nice and friendly. Cannot see what the problem is if you want the house and trust people all seems fine to me, get it over all at once.

  8. I have tried your method of leavimg the moles alone only to return to my house and spend a few back breaking hours clearing up.So for me i will not be sending any subscription to the mole club,but i will keep on trying to get rid of the little furry b-----s.
  9. I have had a limited success with the mole traps,killed three.I am about to invest in a product called Anti-Mole which is a bulb that secretes a smeell that keeps the moles away.Look on www.rootrainers.co.uk/gardeners/protection

Do not bother with any sonic devises they are a waist of money i have tried  them and the moles just ignore them.The best way is to lay traps but mind your fingers,but they willdrive you mad.The first thing i do each day is clear up the previous nights mounds,its war but i think they will win.
  13. i have taken all my paint and wood stainer through the tunnel and never been stopped or asked.give them a bell i am sure they will tell you of any restrictions.
  14. We have the same problem and have bought a sander for the worst blobs of glue.Then we will artex the ceilling hopefully covering the mess.
  15. regarding norfolk line two new ships are very good but food service iffy  ,older ships are grim.have used them three times and for the price they are ok.

We have just returned from our house in 03 and thought our taxes would be waiting for us to pay alas not.Our Marie was away on holiday so could not ask.We payed the remainder of 2005 at the Notaire office, as we bought the proprty in july.As i am in the early stages of learning french any advice or info would be much appreciated.We will not be able to return to france till late december so its a fine or prison?

  24. we have an account with lloyds and britline banks, we just send a cheque from our lloyds account into britline bank they convert it at the commercial rate into euros.
