  1. I know I go on but I can't speak more highly of TLK2 for cheap calls from France and watch this space because in October they are bringing on a broadband package, don't know prices yet but I'm sure they will be published soon and no doubt will be very cheap compared to others.  If you want to keep in touch about it I will gladly help you - email me on [email protected]
  2. I agree with the last reply - Coucoutel is not well known and the fact you have to dial a prefix is very worrying.  TLK2 is the best by far that I have found, no frills, no spills, just cheap and easy calls.  The savings I have made will pay for a few good meals out including a good bottle of wine! I've tried France Telecom, Phonexpat and Tele2 and TLK2 comes out on top every time.  Give it a try, they do all the changeover for you which obviously makes life a lot easier all round.  Look at their website on www.tlk2.com or you are welcome to email me on [email protected]
  3. Skype's OK if nobody else in the house wants to use the computer or make a call - and what about sitting by the pool to make a call?  My daughter tried it and called me from the UK and the line was dreadful - give me TLK2 any day - cheap, easy, forward thinking (Broadband coming on line hopefully in October), new to France and really catching on.  Look at their website on www.tlk2.com or you are welcome to email me on [email protected] and I would gladly discuss it with you.
  4. CHEAP CALLS? The cheapest I have found with no strings attached and inclusive of all taxes, no set up charge, no equipment, pure English language service is TLK2 which by comparison will save you all a minimum of between 20% - 30% and 49% on France Telecom.  I used to use Phonexpat and I have saved at least 20 euros a month which over a year would let me have a couple of free trips back to the UK via Ryanair!! If you want to contact me my email address is [email protected] or look at TLK2 website on www.tlk2.com Good luck and give it a try - Ginny x
